In the beginning

I'm fairly certain no one will ever read this, as I have not announced my blog to the public, and no one really knows about it. Suffice it to say, I'm doing this for myself, and not for the rest of the world. Which is probably better, because I doubt the rest of the world cares. A few probably will (my wife, some friends, a prof or 2) but not the other 5.99 billion people.

I'm struggling today with how to communicate to a person who refuses to actually listen. Not physically, but really hear what is being said. More specifically, to get them to listen what they are told many times a day anyway. It seems to me that while God can change a person’s heart (I sure can’t) He also wants us to do something about it. I just don’t always know what it is.
